Chapter 16 – The Pacific Coast of North America

This chaptercontains a broad overview of some of the evidence specific to the Pacific coast of North America which has been gathered since ‘1421’ was published in 2002. The evidence is wide-ranging and covers many disciplines. These include genetic evidence; maps; shipwrecks; accounts of native peoples meeting foreign visitors; and the distribution of plants and animals.
